Speaking during a youth summit in Nairobi, the group noted that out of over 50 million Kenyans, 18 million are Gen Zs and 12 million are millennials.

“All of us can’t be absorbed into white colour job market by the government but we can join the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises space,” said Joseph Msanii, the CEO and President of Hutsummit Solutions, an MSME consultant firm.

Msanii said Gen Zs and millennials are grateful to President William Ruto for nominating the former Kakamega governor as the CS Cooperatives & MSME.

“President had a good plan, the Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda that will transform this economy but lacked competent people for the job,” they said.

Speaking during the Luhya community development conference at the weekend, Oparanya declared that he was ready to serve in the government of national unity.

“The most important thing is that I am ready to serve in this government of national unity. I will be open, offer suggestions and propose what is best for the country because we want to move forward for the good of our nation,” he added.
