She added that with ODM now on the table, its members will team up with the Kenya Kwanza allied lawmakers to rubber stamp the nominees, even the ones who has been rejected by the Gen Zs.
“The head of state was making an expedient plan because he knew the other side was going to shoot down his nominees if they do not have a piece of the pie.” She said
Barely a week ago, President William Ruto made the decision to appoint four top leaders from the Orange Democratic Movement party to be part of his next Cabinet.
In what has now neutralized the political temperatures in the country and to some extent weakened the Gen Zs pursuit of better governance, Ruto appointed Joho and Oparanya who until the time of their nominations were the Deputy Party leaders in ODM.
The nomination will also see Nominated member of parliament who is also ODM party Chairman John Mbadi and Ugunja member of parliament who is also the Minority leader in the National Assembly Opiyo Wandayi swap legislation for Executive roles.
