But when a Texas woman welcomed a homeless man into her home, she had no idea that this predicament would arise.
In Texas, a woman made the choice to assist a homeless man who was stranded in the cold and in need of a place to rest.
She therefore makes the decision to let the man spend the night in her house in her spare bedroom. That night, after everyone had gone to bed late, she awoke to a startling scene inside her house.
The 66-year-old woman resides in Texas with her granddaughter. She opened her home to Thomas Smith, a homeless guy with nowhere else to stay, because she had a spare bedroom and a huge heart.
The woman believed that everyone in the house had fallen asleep until she was awakened just after 1:30 a.m. by what Smith was doing.
Thomas Smith told KPRC that he heard a “big old boom,” which jolted him out of bed, but didn’t appear to awaken the woman or her granddaughters who were sound asleep.
