Mohamed who also worked as a journalist at the Citizen TV before being appointed to work in the Kenya Kwanza administration called his former colleague Jeff Koinange who hosted Morara on Wednesday after noticing that the lawyer had openly claimed that the President recently called him to offer his a job in the government.
Mohamed boldly said that there has never been any form of phone call between Morara and the President, asking the outspoken lawyer to substantiate his claims.
“A lot of Kenyans have the President’s number by the way. Let Morara substantiate that the President called him. He is lying, he is running away from the question. Will you allow anybody in Kenya to just walk into your studios and say he was called by the President and you just believe it? How can he prove it?” Mohamed said
Earlier in the show, Morara claimed that President William Ruto made a phone call to him, asking him to accept job offer in his government, an offer that he says he openly rejected. Morara said that he rejected the offer because it could have forced him to work in corrupt system.
“Initially I had calls from people around the President. Then eventually I got a call from the President. I spoke to him very respectfully because he is our President.
Whatever I was offered I refused, I was offered a state position. Being a brilliant person and a person of integrity, I believe that if I go into government I am going there to be corrupt.” He said
And some Kenyans have now criticised Mohamed saying that he has embarrassed himself by interrupting a show to lecture Morara. Some also say that having worked as journalist and a senior government official, Mohamed should have done better that what he did…CONTINUE READING>>
