The woman, whose name was given as Gift Ahemte, was arrested during the first raid alongside a man, whose name was given as Musa Abdullahi, aged 25 years, at their hideout in Agbor metropolis following a tip-off received by the command’s Crack Squad about how they were involved in selling of hard drugs.

During the raid on the hideout, a substance suspected to be Indian hemp weighing eight kilogrammes, another drug known as Volume 5 as well as a hard drug known as Swinol were recovered from them. They were promptly arrested and taken to the command’s headquarters.
During the second raid, the Crack Squad swooped on the hideout of another set of drug dealers along Jakpa Road, Warri and arrested three men while kegs of hard drug known as Loud, 143 wraps of Indian hemp, eight wraps of drug popularly known as Colorado and some sachets of Tramadol were recovered from them.
The names of those arrested were given as Felix Aroh, aged 43 years; Erumu Ogodo, aged 20 years and Michael Utolu, aged 36 years. They were arrested following intelligence gathered by the Squad over a period of time.

The arrest of the woman and the four men was announced by the state police command through its Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, posted on the Facebook wall of the command on Saturday which also announced the arrest of some other suspected criminals.

According to the statement, the five people are currently giving useful information about their activities while they are expected to be prosecuted at the conclusion of investigation.
