“Yes, I am ready to be the Leader of the Official Opposition. This is the TEAM. You will see the Opposition like never before. We may be light in numbers in Parliament, but outside, we have the People of Kenya,” Musyoka stated.

The announcement comes after Musyoka notably skipped the official launch of Raila Odinga’s bid for the African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship at State House. The event saw the presence of notable figures, including Jakaya Kikwete, the former president of Tanzania, who showed his support for Odinga’s bid.
