A video shared by the media personality captured the moment he stepped onto the podium as the students erupted into cheers and excitement.

As Koinange approached the stage, the students cheered enthusiastically, their energy filling the room. Grabbing the microphone, Koinange addressed the students, greeting them and praising their spirit.

“Students of Senior Chief Koinange, are you there?” he asked, to which the students responded loudly, “We are available!”

He continued by complimenting them, saying:

“How are you guys doing? You look beautiful. Pigeni nduru (shout)”

The excitement of the students was evident, and they were thrilled to interact with the celebrated journalist. It was a special moment for Koinange, as the school is named after his grandfather, Senior Chief Koinange.

Reflecting on the memorable visit, Koinange shared a clip on social media with the caption:

“What a welcome. Hanging out with the AMAZING girls #SeniorChiefKoinangeGirls school, named after my grandfather!! What a time!”
