Speaking in Chepsaita, Uasin Gishu County where he was attending a sports event, Ichung’wah accused the Deputy President of playing tribal politics which he claimed had the potential to sow division amongst Kenyans.
Ichung’wah while encouraging Kenyans to participate in the upcoming marathon in Chepsaita, also criticised Gachagua for lamenting over his removal from the State House WhatsApp group.
In his cryptic message targeting the Deputy President, the Kikuyu Member of Parliament dismissed Gachagua’s allegations, urging him to join alternative WhatsApp groups such as the Chepsaita WhatsApp group which he claimed was open to all and sundry.
“I am urging all those lamenting that they have been removed from WhatsApp groups, let them join us in the Chepsaita WhatsApp group,” Ichung’wah commented.
“Let them join us so that we can stop tribal and divisive politics. This race does not have tribe, age, and even the colour of the skin,” he added.
According to Ichung’wah, the broad-based government’s WhatsApp group was open to everyone and nobody would be ejected from it regardless of their status.
Ichung’wah’s sentiments come just a day after DP Gachagua’sallies hit out at Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wah for constantly disrespecting the deputy president in public gatherings.
Embakasi North MP James Gakuya while addressing Wakulima traders in Nairobi, faulted President Ruto for failing to condemn Ichung’wah for contemptuously addressing the DP.
“Kimani Ichung’wah insults DP Gachagua while he is standing next to the President and the President does not reprimand him,” said Gakuya.
Speaking at the same rally, the DP hit out at a section of Members of Parliament over plans to table an impeachment motion to oust him from his current position.
While addressing the matter, Gachagua stated that it was impossible to impeach him since it was the Kenyan people who elected him to the position.
“They’re threatening me that they will mobilize MPs to kick me out and install their puppet. They have given these MPs money to sell me fear,” Gachagua claimed…CLICK HERE FOR MORE ARTICLE>>>
