Fred says that everything was okay until they had a wedding with his wife. After the honeymoon, they went back home, but he felt so much pain in his stomach and didn’t bother to go for a check-up.
After some days, he decided to go to the hospital, and the doctor gave him some pills and assured him that if he takes them, he will be fine. But it only got worse.
He went back to the hospital again, and the doctor decided to do a body scan. That’s when he was diagnosed with a kidney problem. Since he had no money for treatment, he just went back home.
He was afraid to tell his wife because he thought she might abandon him. So, he told his wife they have to have children as soon as possible. It has been 10 years now, and they are blessed with 3 kids.
As days went on, he started becoming thin every day, and people in his neighborhood thought he was suffering from HIV, which made him feel bad.
His wife also got sick, and after treatment, she could not hear again. So, they use their daughter to communicate in the house, which made her drop out of school.
After his story was aired by Afrimax TV, many well-wishers came to his rescue and gave him food. They also opened up a business for him and his wife, and he is still in medication, awaiting an operation when his blood level goes back to normal.
Fred says that his children have also gone back to school after well-wishers paid their school fees after his story was aired.
