According to Grace, after she completed class eight, she refused to go to high school and got married without introducing her husband to her parents since she had run away from home.
She claims that after she gave birth to the firstborn, they started having ups and downs. She used to run away and rent a house, but after a while, her husband would go to look for her, and they would get back together.
Grace says that after she got pregnant with the second born, they still had differences, and she ran away without informing her husband. When her husband found out she was pregnant, he went to look for her, but she refused to go back with him.
She claims that they started fighting, and her husband picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed her twice in the back. She says that she took the same knife and stabbed him twice. She was scared after he fell, and blood was overflowing, so she called a taxi and took him to the hospital.
While in the hospital being treated, he passed away, and she reported herself to the police. She was arraigned in court, where she said she was defending herself, and she was jailed for 8 years. She gave birth while in prison and was released last December.
