In a post on his Facebook page, Wajackoyah explained his practice, addressing those who question why he always has alcohol in his house.
“I keep alcohol to keep the devil away from my home,” Wajackoyah said.
The controversial politician is widely known for his 2022 presidential campaign under his Roots party.
During his campaign, Wajackoyah advocated for the legalization of cannabis and the sale of snake and dog meat to the Chinese.
However, he did not win the election, finishing in third place with fewer than 60,000 votes. William Ruto won the election with over 7 million votes, while Raila Odinga came in second with over 6 million votes.
