My husband’s family quickly took charge. They told me to pack a few things and come to the village for the funeral arrangements. They took his bank card and other valuables, saying it was customary. I didn’t protest much as they provided for us during this tough time.
But on the day of the funeral, things took a horrifying turn. Some family members accused me of causing my husband’s death.
