He was born and raised in a city. While in secondary school, he never wanted to study since he had identified his singing talent and was already earning money from it. He could go to perform in clubs and earn money.
On the other hand, his parents were very strict; they wanted him to study and have his papers. After completing his secondary education, he moved to another city where he used to perform in different clubs, mostly on weekends.
While in the club performing, a lady approached him and confessed how she liked his voice. They exchanged their contacts and would invite her where he was performing. Their friendship grew strong until they became lovers after the lady told him that she was single.
She could visit his house and even spend the night there. One day, Waiganjo was invited to perform in a club that was near his girlfriend’s house and after the performance, the lady asked him to go for a sleepover at her house. They slept together the whole night. At around 6 am, they heard a knock at the door, and the lady went to open it.
When a man entered, he angrily asked who the other man was. Waiganjo knelt and managed to calm down the man of the house and asked him to discuss what was going on. The man said that he was her husband and he works in another town.
