Changing your eye colour temporarily

When you use tinted contact lenses, it can change your eye colour for a short time and it is very common. There are three types of lenses you can use. They include the following:

1. Visibility lenses

This type of lens is lightly tinted and it will only have an effect, if the person’s eyes has a light colour. The tinting also helps people to locate them, if they are accidentally dropped.

2. Opaque lenses

These lenses has a fully coloured iris, which allows people to change their eye color completely. Opaque lenses comes in different kinds of colour.

3. Enhancement lenses

This type doesn’t fully change your eyes colour, but it can intensify it.

Changing your eye colour permanently

There are some people that may want to change their eye colour permanently. The only solution to this is through a surgery called, iris implant surgery. This is usually used to repair or replace the iris, as a result of illness or injury. According to a research, this surgery has a lot of complications which may affect the eyes negatively. They include eye inflammation, cataracts, glaucoma and blindness.
