The Judiciary Leadership Team said in a statement on Wednesday, August 7, that it had considered every security precaution and in order to facilitate the administration of justice, the Judiciary stated that certain sessions will utilize technology.

They also mentioned the deployment of a security team to guarantee the protection of court employees and users.

“To uphold the Constitution, the Judiciary Leadership Team has resolved that courts will remain open, all considerations of safety and security taken into account, and will, as much as possible, leverage technology and virtual courts to ensure continued dispensation of justice,” a statement from the Judiciary Leadership Team read in part.

However, the Judiciary team asked both the demonstrators and the security personnel to scrupulously abide by the Constitution when interacting with the demonstrators.
