Mukami affirmed that as elected leaders from Mt Kenya region, they will not sit and watch Mr Odinga scattering and causing division in the government that they hardly fought to form in 2022. She added that they will continue to pray for the unity between President William Ruto his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua.

“We fought so hard for us to form this government. I want to say here categorically without fear that we fought to form this government and that there is no way we will allow Raila to come and scatter us apart. We stay put and we are here to stay. We will continue praying for unity between President Ruto and his Deputy.” Mukami said
