Gachagua has advised against making rash comments in the media and to prioritize development above hasty political decisions.

He urged everyone to use caution when speaking, particularly on television, to prevent unneeded derailments from the important task of serving the public.

Gachagua has expressed displeasure with the actions of several senators and asked them to handle county affairs while he and President William Ruto handle national governance.

He has accused Nyeri’s Wamatinga Wahome, Joe Nyutu, and Senator Nyutu of Murang’a of spearheading the calls for his replacement as Ruto’s running mate in 2027.
