The decision marks a significant step in the management of incidents that have occurred during the tournament. FIFA has stressed the importance of maintaining the integrity of the sport and ensuring a fair competitive environment for all participating teams.
For Argentina, this defeat has significant implications. The team must now prepare for a crucial match against Iraq, scheduled for this Saturday. A win is imperative to avoid elimination from the tournament.
