From the 11th minute, the gap was found thanks to a service from Pablo Barrios to Fermin Lopez who lit up Léo Kokubo with a heavy strike. After this opening of the score, the Japanese tried to respond with a few assaults in the Spanish camp but without success. 1-0 at the break.

As soon as the break came back, Japan were perfectly silenced in their attempts to respond to Fermin Lopez’s goal.
