Yesufu said that Wike is mistaken about Abuja for Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, where people tremble at the mention of his name.
“Wike thinks Abuja is Port Harcourt, where he was a local champion and everyone shook at the mention of his name!” Yesufu wrote on X.
DAILY POST reported that a socio-political critic, Martins Ortse aka VeryDarkMan, had recently slammed Wike, who is the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), over the demolition of Ruga community.
VeryDarkMan said Wike should relocate those whose houses were demolished in the Ruga community.
Reacting to Wike’s remark, the social critic said displacing over “10,000 people will further cause security issues” in the FCT.
DAILY POST reports that Wike had previously ordered a task force, “Operation Sweep,” to demolish Ruga and other communities within the nation’s capital in an effort to clear the city of perceived nuisances and criminal activities.
Following the demolition, Wike explained that the action was aimed at sanitizing and securing the FCT.
