A Nigerian father is calling for justice after his infant was severely injured on the first day at a daycare in the Ago Palace area of Okota, Lagos. The case was brought to public attention by human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu, who shared the father’s distressing account on social media.
In a message sent to Gwamnishu, the father wrote: Quote
“This is what happened to my baby at a daycare in Lagos where we dropped him for the first time. The owner of the school claimed that another child caused the injuries, but doctors say the wounds appear to be from an animal.”
The father also expressed frustration, stating that efforts to seek justice through the police have been hindered.
“We went to the police, but the woman is using her wealth to cover up the incident. We need help,”
he pleaded.
