While the former Minister of Aviation and the spokesman to the newly elected president of the country, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode was reacting to this on his official Twitter handle this evening, he said that, those who spent N400 billion on the presidential election should know that, the Nigeria’s presidency is not for sale.
He said that the Peoples Democratic Party, may have even breached the law by spending such amount of money on the presidential election.
He said, “To those that say that they spent 400 billion on running for the Presidency.
1. The Presidency of Nigeria is not for sale.
2. You may have breached the law on campaign financing and violated the Electoral Act.
3. You will not be given a kobo to compensate you for your loss.”
