During the last few years, a lot more research has been done about what people should eat and what they should avoid in order to have a better chance of having a baby. A lot of the medicines you take as a woman have an effect on how quickly your baby grows in your womb, and in some cases, they can even completely damage your womb.

Taking too many of these things can harm the womb.

1. Birth control pills:

Taking medicine to end a pregnancy without a doctor’s permission can hurt your chances of getting pregnant in the future and having healthy pregnancies. This is because abortion can cause an untreated infection in the uterus during the surgery, which can be dangerous.

2. Drinking too much alcohol.

A new study says that heavy smokers are more likely to become infertile because cigarette smoke makes it more difficult for a foetus to grow in the womb.

You don’t have to give up your morning cup of coffee, but you should try to drink less of it each day. To be safe, don’t drink more than two glasses of wine a day.

People who drink more than five cups of coffee a day are less likely to get pregnant, and people who drink more than 200 mg of caffeine a day (about two cups of coffee) are more likely to miscarry when they get pregnant.
