The Three Lions will be going into the contest off the back of their remarkable 3-0 victory over Senegal in the previous stage of the World Cup, and the Gareth Southgate-led team will be looking for another victory over the reigning World Champions to confirm their slot in the next phase of the competition.

Les Bleus, on the other hand, will enter the high-profile quarter-final fixture after their impressive 3-1 win over Poland in the round-of-16 phase of the competition, and Didier Deschamps-led team will also be seeking to get another victory over the Three Lions to progress to the semifinals.
