Dele Momodu who is also a publisher of Ovation magazine while speaking on a programme on channels television claimed that in true sense, there was no presidential election last Saturday, and that the country didn’t need to go through the election process.

The PDP PCC spokesperson who made this statement noted that they may as well, told Nigerians that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC was not ready to leave power, after the manner in which the election was conducted.

Speaking further, he lamented the amount of money which had been spent for the election, adding that Nigerians had put in faith and sacrifice their time to ensure a free, fair and credible election is observed.

In his words…”We might as well have told Nigerians that APC is not ready to go, so, we don’t need an election, and that we are turning Nigeria into a one party state, and in our usual docility, we will agree, instead of to waste all that money, and waste people’s time”

Some had however complained in the manner in which the results were gotten, after the electoral body announced Bola Tinubu as the president-elect of the federal republic of Nigeria.
