During his maiden speech, DIG Masengeli expressed deep gratitude to the community, acknowledging the unwavering prayers and support from the locals, Christians, and well-wishers that have been instrumental in his journey. He emphasized the immense responsibility that comes with his position and thanked everyone for their ongoing prayers.

The event was further highlighted by the church’s preacher, Abednego Lwandanyi, who commended Masengeli for his commitment to building a house of worship. He urged other law enforcers to follow in Masengeli’s footsteps by investing in and constructing places of worship.

Masengeli’s mother shared her joy and pride, reflecting on her son’s respectful and disciplined nature, which she believes has been key to his success. She recalled his childhood, noting that he was always respectful to those in authority, a virtue that has now elevated him to one of the highest ranks in the police force.

His siblings, led by his elder brother Robert Masengeli, also praised his good morals and integrity. They noted with pride that despite his position, he has always treated them with fairness and respect.
