The meeting focused on developing strategies to effectively monitor and evaluate ongoing national projects across the country.

Welcoming Owalo to the team, GDS Acting Head Lee Kyonze expressed optimism regarding his appointment, emphasizing that Owalo’s leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the GDS fulfills its mandate.

“Eliud’s experience and commitment will help us track government projects more efficiently, intervene where necessary, and verify the progress of initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Kenyans,” Kyonze stated.

The GDS team plays a critical role in monitoring and evaluating the government’s achievements, which is vital for transparency and accountability in public service.

During the meeting, Owalo reiterated his commitment to supporting the team in delivering the government’s strategic plans.
