The shift in leadership was announced following a crucial meeting at the party’s offices, where members, under the leadership of Executive Secretary Kiprotich Siele, expressed hopes that these changes would reinvigorate the party and enhance its influence.

“There’s a pressing need to inject new energy into the party. The changes are aimed at restructuring the leadership at all sub-county levels, which we believe will encourage greater membership and participation,” Siele stated.

Additionally, the members have called for the Secretary General position to be relocated back to the Western region, citing the substantial support base in the area that warrants more representation.
