Roma’s hopes of playing in Europe next season were further dented after losing to Fiorentina. However, according to BBC Sport, Roma have now failed to win seven games in a row in Serie A for the first time since 2018.
On the same note, Fiorentina have now won back-to-back Serie A home games against Roma for the first time since 1992–94, under Luigi Radice and Claudio Ranieri. However, these poor Roma runs include four draws and three losses.
Inter vs Atalanta
Inter got too comfortable after scoring their early goals through Lukaku and Barella, but they allowed Atalanta to get back into the game in the first half.
Atalanta were throwing everything they had at an equalizer now as Inter desperately defended their lead in the second half. Even though Onana’s own goal shocked the stadium, Lukaku scored his second goal of the game early in the second half.
