The game ended in a 2-2 draw after Palazon and Oscar Trejo scored for the home side while Tsygankov and nets a brace for the away team.

Celta Vigo made a long trip to Espanyol where they thrashed the home side 3-1 to boost their hope of qualifying for European competition next season.

Atletico Madrid on the other hand hosted Valencia at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, with goals from Griezmann, Carrasco, and Thomas Lemar on the scoresheet.
