Current EPL Table After Tottenham Drew 3-3 To Close The Gap On Man United, While Aston Villa Won 3-0

The English Premier League kicked off again this weekend after interesting mid-week games, which saw some of the premier league clubs advance to the quarter-finals of UEFA competitions.

Today’s games resumed with an entertaining clash between Aston Villa and Bournemouth. The Unai Emery’s men hosted Bournemouth at Villa Park and were able to grab a comfortable and crucial win.

Leicester City traveled to the Gtech Community Stadium where they faced Thomas Frank’s Brentford. Matthias Jensens’s opener was canceled by Harvey Barnes in the second half. Despite the home side’s red card, Brenden Rodgers’s men were unable to pick up three points.

Tottenham Hotspur on the other hand settled for a frustrating 3-3 draw against Southampton. Antonio Conte and his boys were keen on winning the home side to leapfrog Manchester United, but a draw left them hanging with one point behind the Red Devils.

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leeds United battled it out at the Molineux Stadium, with the away side grabbing a crucial three points after beating the home team 4-2.
