Arsenal are still missing Gabriel Jesus and Reiss Nelson due to knee and hamstring injuries, respectively.

Gabriel, William Saliba, and Bukayo Saka are all only one booking away from being suspended.

The Gunners are waiting to hear if new addition Leandro Trossard has been registered in time for this game.

Manchester United are missing midfielder Casemiro, who has been suspended for one match after receiving five yellow cards.

Back-up goalkeeper Jack Butland is available after missing Wednesday’s game against parent club Crystal Palace.

Manager Erik ten Hag delivered his pre-match press conference immediately after the draw at Selhurst Park, but he was unable to guarantee whether recent absentees like Diogo Dalot and Anthony Martial will be available for Sunday’s encounter.

Manchester City vs Wolves

Manchester City will want to add to their midweek comeback win with another three points in the Premier League when they visit Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the visitors want to extend their undefeated away record in the Premier League to four games and keep themselves out of the relegation zone.

Three consecutive losses might seem unimaginable for a Pep Guardiola team that had just defeated Southampton and Manchester United, but that looked to be the case as Man City went into halftime 2-0 down against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night.

The Citizens, on the other hand, battled back like genuine champions, turning the game on its head inside the opening 12 minutes of the second half thanks to goals from Julian Alvarez, Erling Braut Haaland, and Riyad Mahrez, before the latter clinched the victory with a fourth goal in stoppage time.

Guardiola delivered a harsh assault on his players and supporters after the game, angered by their lack of “passion” and “fire,” and he feels City will lose more points if they do not perform at the needed level.

The Citizens now have three of their next four home games, including Sunday’s showdown against a Wolves team that they have defeated in each of their past five league encounters, scoring 16 goals and allowing just three.

City’s match against Wolves is a favorable matchup on paper in the near term, with games against Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur on the horizon, and a win on Sunday would cut the deficit on the Gunners to just two points before Mikel Arteta’s side face Man United later that day.
