According to her, she said she has been hearing of Buhari for a long time, and when He came out to contest again in 2014 with the message of Change, she thought he had changed.
This made her to at some point campaign for Buhari because she believed that times have changed. She further added that someone had asked her, if her late grandfather Chief Awolowo would have been glad to see her campaigning for Buhari. She answered and said that times have changed. But with what She has seen in the period in which Buhari has been in office, it was worrisome that nothing has actually changed about Buhari.
She also commented that President Buhari has failed and this takes her mind back to what her grandfather said before he died. That Buhari did not have a better understanding of politics and governance. With what is presently happening in the nation, Chief Awolowo was right.
With this, Chief Awolowo was indeed a leader with style and had a good knowledge of what was right for Nigerians
