Chelsea have some potential top players on their transfer shortlist. Some players which include Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt, Sevilla defender Jules Kounde and Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling.
The people in charge of Chelsea’s transfer situation have been in contact with these players’ agents to discuss potential moves for these players. This could be how they will lineup next season if they are able to make these signings.
Goalkeeper
Chelsea could continue with Edouard Mendy between the sticks for next season as he is still capable of bringing success to the team just like he did in his first season.
Defenders
Should the right signings arrive at the club, Chelsea could go with a back three with Kounde potentially pairing with De Ligt and Thiago Silva with Chillwell and Reece James keeping their wing back positions for next season.
Midfielders
Kovacic is likely to continue his midfield partnership with N’Golo Kante for next season with Chelsea not looking to any midfielders in the transfer window.
Attackers
Should Raheem Sterling arrive at Chelsea next season,he could be paired in a 3 man strike partnership with Mason Mount and Kai Havertz.
