The 18 year old Nigerian-descent and England international was handed a starting role in the game where he was also handed the captain band to lead the team as the skipper and he was able to justify his presence on the pitch of play.

Carney Chukwuemeka in the game was able to maintain his incredible run of form which was the replication of his performance couple of days ago for Chelsea in a club friendly against Brighton and Hove Albion, where he scored a stunning brace that sealed a remarkable 2-1 win for the Graham Potter’s side at the Amex Stadium.

He was able to be in total control of the game at the heart of the centre-field where he used his vast experience coupled with exhibiting some leadership traits which were instrumental in the comfortable three goals to nil victory.

The host in the first half took a double lead courtesy of a goal each from Liam Delap and Daniel Oyegoke in the 10th and 23rd minute respectively to make it two goals to nil going into the half time break.

The host in the second half were able to maintain the tempo as they put up some more dazzling displays and as such got their lead extended in the 61st minute to make it three goals to nil.

After every other attempts from both sides to add more to the tally of the night, all were not successful as it ended three goals to nil at full time.
