The Army personnel was arrested around Dankogi park in Zuba, Abuja in collaboration with a vigilante group in the area.
The Army Personnel hired out a gun for a kidnapping operation and he was paid N300,000. In the second deal, the kidnappers contacted the Army Personnel that they want to hire guns for an operation, he charged them N200,000, collected the money but did not supply the guns to them.
The kidnappers were arrested by men of DSS and when they were asked where they got their guns from, the kidnappers said an Army personnel do supply them riffles.
Narrating how the Army Personnel was arrested, the DSS, Vigilante group and the kidnappers planned a sting operation against him. The kidnappers contacted the Army Personnel that they want to purchase AK-47 riffles.
He charged them N3M and when he came to Dankogi park in Zuba to supply the riffles, he was arrested by a vigilante group and handed over to DSS.
They saw an AK-47, a fully loaded magazine with 30 rounds of ammunition inside the vehicle of the Army Personnel.
