In a post shared on his official X account, Bamiloye highlighted biblical examples to underline the dangers of disrespecting spiritual leaders.
“Some people have carried unnecessary curses they ought not to have carried in the first place. Why? Because they had insulted some genuine men of God who carry fires meant for the devil,” he said.
Referencing 2 Samuel 6:16 and 6:23, Bamiloye recounted the story of Michal, the daughter of Saul, who despised King David for dancing before God. Although David did not curse her, she faced divine punishment, remaining childless until her death.
He further noted, “That is how some ignorant and arrogant people are getting their fingers burnt in the fire they cannot quench.
“Because some men of God had disappointed you does not imply every man of God you see should now be despised and insulted. It is a very dangerous venture.”
Bamiloye concluded with a strong warning: “Some people are always looking for any excuse to despise and talk against men of God. Fear for your future!”
