Based on reports, the house was stormed last week by ICPC officials in the Wuse area, besides the National Open University of Nigeria Campus in Abuja after receiving a rip-off from a whistleblower.

A man who identifies as @Eikrosmediahub made on post on Twitter in regards to this news. He questioned why a former Chief of Army Staff who receives a basic salary of less than N15m can be having up to N1.85 billion in his possession. His question generated several reactions on the social media platform.

“How does a former Chief of Army Staff amass as much as N1.85 billion in cash at home? His basic salary is less than N15M million , so how does he have such money?”, He asked.

Nigerians expressed their disappointment through their comments. Some were concerned about how Nigeria is still standing with all the looting.
