Barcelona President, Juan Laporta and Manager Xavi have all revealed their intentions to sign the Bayern Munich Forward but there is one problem. The problem is that Barcelona are in a poor financial situation and do not have the funds to sign Lewandowski or any other Player.

Yes, the obvious opinion is that they can sign Players for free which is true but they cannot register these Players due to their poor financial situation. Players like Andreas Christensen, Franck Kessie should have been registered by now but Barca’s lack of money have stopped them from doing so.

It is left to be seen if Lewandowski will still join Barcelona in this current situation. According to reports, Barcelona’s vice President has even revealed the broke status of the club and reportedly disclosed that the Catalan club need at least 500 million euros to remain in operation.
