The High Court has ordered the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and Acting Inspector General of Police Gilbert Masengeli to stop any further access to Wanjigi’s Muthaiga residence.

Specifically, the earrings alone were valued at about $40,319, which converts to roughly KSh 5.2 million. The court’s ruling mandates that all these items, including the cash, be returned to Wanjigi.

The court’s decision addresses concerns about the legality of the police action and the manner in which Wanjigi’s belongings were seized.
