“I want to say that should you fail to deliver to Kenyans, there’s only one person that I know that will be easily defeated in 2027. Defeating you Mr. Ruto in 2027 will be easier than reciting vowels,” Babu said.
He seemingly implied that any person who is capable of vying for presidency during the next general election will defeat him in 2027.
“Any living thing that is capable of locomoting or moving from one place to the other will defeat you in 2027. Even if you take a goat and put and dress and put it on the ballot it will defeat you in 2027,” he added.
During the same press conference, Babu and other MPs expressed their support for the Gen Z protests. They vowed not to be intimidated by the government into withdrawing their support for the country’s youth.
Earlier, Babu, is the latest close ally of the former prime minister to take a stand against him. In a statement on Friday, July 19, the outspoken legislator, declared that he would support Kenyans on the matter.
