Kalonzo was speaking on Friday when he visited protest casualties at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).

He said the alleged atrocities committed during the protests call for immediate action from the ICC.

“As Senior counsel, we are going to document every incident and even revisit the International Criminal Court, talk to them about the atrocities committed against the Kenyans,” he said.

Kalonzo challenged President William Ruto to speak against the shooting of protesters during the demos.

“I want to look at William Ruto in the face, I hope he’s looking at me, and tell him to rise above himself, and realise he has instruments of power.”

On the issue of alleged abductions of anti-Finance Bill protesters, Kalonzo said it is a method of trying to cause terror among Kenyans.

Kalonzo said the only crime the youth committed was trying to reclaim their country.

He particularly pointed out one victim, Joshua Okayo, a law student doing his post-graduate course at the Kenyan School of Law.

He claimed that Joshua had been abducted and was later discovered in Murang’a County, famished.

Kalonzo further called out the government spokesperson, police Inspector General and regional commander for not addressing the alleged atrocities on protesters.

Additionally, he said he would ensure the efforts of those who lost their lives in the protests like Rex Masai will not go in vain.

Kalonzo more than 200 casualties were received with two dying on arrival at the hospital. He thanked the Kenyatta National Hospital administration for receiving and treating casualties…CONTINUE READING>>
