Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will be aiming to continue from where they left off before the break, with some tough round of matches on the way, With that Below are next five games for the North Londoners in the Premier League & how they could fare.

Arsenal vs Tottenham (October 1)

Antonio Conte’s side are a much improved side than last campaign & have started this new campaign more convincingly with 5 wins, two draws and no defeats.

This is another big test Arsenal Boss, Mikel Arteta can use to make a statement and send a message to the rest of his rivals.

But they wouldn’t have it easy against their London rivals and must find a way to stifle their opposition attack featuring the likes of some quality players in Dejan Kulusevski, Harry Kane, Richarlison & Heung-min Son, the latter who came off the bench against Leicester to net three goals & has always proven to be a threat to the Gunners backline in recent campaigns.

One of Spurs glaring problems is at the back, in seven games this campaign they’ve managed to concede in six matches, which is what Arsenal can take advantage of, with some first team stars like Hugo Lloris & Ivan Perisic likely to miss out.

This is a match Arsenal could win with a close scoreline or end up securing a draw.

Arsenal vs Liverpool (October 9)

Liverpool aren’t in the best of form currently, but they’re talented side that can beat any club on their day, Most of their star players, Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk, Darwin Nunez & Jordan Henderson are struggling, but that is only temporary as we could see a totally different side against the Gunners.

The Gunners are in better form going into this match, but the experience of Liverpool should be enough to get a win at the Emirates

Leeds United vs Arsenal ( October 16)

Leeds United Manager, Jesse Marsch has done a great job since he took charge of the club, the American tactician saved them from a possible drop to the Championship during the 21/22 campaign & has continued to improve & push his side as seen by their performances this campaign.

But are still lacking in some key areas of their game, Playing away at the Elland Road is never easy, but with the quality players in the ranks of Arsenal, this should be an easy three points.

Arsenal vs Manchester City (October 19)

This is another tough match for Arsenal, in recent years, The Citizens have always had the upper hand and always gotten the better of the Londoners.

Will the backline of Arsenal be able to handle the relentless offensive threats of Kelvin De Bruyne, Erling Braut Haaland & Bernardo Silva? I don’t think so, Arsenal will try their best, but at the end the tactical brilliance of Pep Guardiola and the quality of the City side will prevail.

Southampton vs Arsenal (October 23)

Southampton are a tricky side, capable of pulling off an upset against Top sides.

They also have some good players in Che Adams, Adam Armstrong & James Ward Prowse who could cause be a threat from set pieces.

This match should be a walk in the park for the London based outfit.
