Ivan Fresneda is the defender on Arteta’s mind this winter, as the 18 year old right back showed incredible ability against top players earlier this season when he came against the likes of Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid.
His is an explosive player who love to attack as well as defend. He has a great sense for defending one on one situations, has excellent associative play which could see him combine heavily with Saka on the right numerous times and has a decent delivery. If he signs for Arsenal, Arteta could develop him into one of the most elite players in his position.
