Arsenal Loan Star, Folarin Nets A Classic Goal For Ligue 1 Club-side In Home League 3-Goal Thriller

Arsenal football club of England loan star, Folarin Balogun was incredible tonight for French Ligue 1 club-side Reims in their 28th league game of the season at home against Olympique Marseille at the Stade Auguste-Delaune.

The England international and Nigerian-descent who has been in incredible run of form since joining the team from his parent club, Arsenal in the last summer transfer window was able to replicate another mind-blowing performance for his team.

Folarin Balogun in the game played his part and also contributed his quota in the show of the night where he scored his team’s only goal but his efforts were not enough to save his side from the narrow defeat.

The young football maestro opened the scoring sheet for the host in the 13th minute of the game as he gave his side the lead to make it one nil, before Alexis Sanchez got the visitor back into the game with an equalizer in the 16th minute to make it 1-1.

Alexis Sanchez in the 29th minute of the game was able to net his second goal of the night to give the visitor the lead by making it two goals to one going into the half time break.

The tempo of the game in the second half got more intensed as they both put up some more incredible style of play but none was able to found the back of the net with all attempts to add more to the tally of the night proving abortive as it ended two goals to one at full time.

Folarin Balogun with his only goal of the night has now taken his league tally of the season to 17 which is the joint-second most of any player in the competition, with only LOSC Lille’s Jonathan David (19) and Paris Saint Germain’s Kylian Mbappe (19) having scored more than the Nigerian-descent.

He will then be hoping to keep the standard going for his team in their next game as they continue their pursuit in the competition with an optimism to help his team get back to winning ways.
