Having played four (4) of the top six in the Premier League this season, Mikel Arteta’s side has won three, that is, against Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea FC, only Erik Ten Hag’s side has Arsenal FC was unable to defeat.
The results of the two clubs’ last ten Premier League games may have no doubt have one effect or the other on who emerges winner of the clash between the two clubs.
Arsenal FC has played Liverpool (3-2), Leeds United (1-0), West Ham United (3-1), Chelsea (1-0), Nottingham Forest (5-0), Southampton (1-1), Newcastle United (0-0), Tottenham Hotspur (2-0), Wolverhampton Wanderers (2-0) as well as Brighton and Hove Albion (4-2).
On the other hand, Manchester United played against Tottenham Hotspur (2-0), Chelsea FC (1-1), West Ham United (1-0), Aston Villa lost by 3-1, Fulham (2-1), Nottingham Forest (3-0) Wolves (1-0), Crystal Palace (1-1), Manchester City (2-1) and Bournemouth (3-0).
Arsenal won eight and drew two (unbeaten) but Manchester United won seven, drew two and lost one. The Gunners secured twenty-six points in the ten games while the Red Devils earned only twenty-two points.
Arsenal scored twenty-two goals and conceded six, unlike the Red Devils which scored seventeen (17) and allowed seven goals into its net.
Manchester United has conceded goals in the Premier League in 2023 while Arsenal FC is yet to concede in the said year.
