Atwoli, who spoke to the members of the press at JKIA, revealed that he attempted to reach out to Murkomen over the strike on the controversial Adani takeover deal.

“I called the previous CS for Roads and Transport, Murkomen, with a view of trying to educate and advise him to meet with the workers and explain the Adani issue to them. But unfortunately, our Ministers are arrogant they don’t take callsĀ unless they are from businessmen and employers.” remarked Atwoli.

Again, Fire Destroys Expensive Property at Another School

Tragedy struck Oma John Mbadi Mixed Secondary School in Homa Bay county after a fire broke out.

According to reports, the incident happened on Wednesday morning as students were busing in class studying.

Further information noted that a dormitory was razed down by the inferno.

It was also revealed by the area deputy county commissioner that the cause of the disaster was yet to be established.

Court Takes Action Against Nine Students Over Alleged Arson

Nine students are set to spend 10 days behind bars over an alleged criminal action.

The pupils from Miathene Boys High School in Meru CountyĀ were claimed to have been behind a fire that destroyed a dormitory.

According to the Meru court, the decision to keep the children in police custody will help the boys in blue to conduct investigations over the incident.

Isaac Mwaura Forced to Act After Confusion Emerged on Missing Endarasha Pupils

Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura on Wednesday, September 11 was forced to clear the air over the matter of missing pupils from the Hillside Endarasha disaster.

Information had emerged that some parents were still looking for their children despite communication from the government that all pupils were accounted for.

Mwaura, who spoke to Kenyans.co.ke, proclaimed that the matter would be addressed swiftly.

“That is being investigated to ascertain if there was any error in compiling the list. As per our records so far, only 19 boys are yet to be matched with their parents since the bodies were burnt beyond recognition.
