The Rivers state governor made this remark during a statewide broadcast interview, where he talked about about Tonye Cole’s defeat at the state’s Governorship polls.

Wike continued by saying that Tonye Cole was more of a stranger to his community, where he has contributed nothing to its development.

In his words, “How could Rotimi Amaechi and Tonye Cole hope to win this election after dividing their party into several mutually destructive fragments of opposing political camps without the strength to take on the united, solid, and highly performing PDP?”.
