The just concluded season was full of drama and upsets to the last minute as we saw clubs such as Arsenal continue with their rise while Manchester United found themselves struggling.

Manchester City, led by Pep Guardiola, proved to be once again an unstoppable force as they managed to overcome Arsenal’s pressure and win the Premier League title on the final day of the season.

San Diego Union-Tribune. As players take a short break waiting for the tournaments that will take place this summer to kick off, we’ve decided to bring you all Premier League award winners for the 2023/24 season. Without further ado, let’s get started.

Manchester City made history during the 2023/24 season by becoming the first club to win the English Premier League title four times in a row.

It seemed as if the Cytizens were out of the race for the Premier League crown towards the end of this year but recovered after playing their games on hand to catch up with Liverpool and Arsenal on top of the table.

Even though Arsenal led the way for the majority of this year, City took the top spot after beating Tottenham Hotspur with one game left to play. They would then secure a hard-fought win over West Ham to be crowned champions on the final day of the season.

Arsenal have finished runner-up for two consecutive seasons and have truly emerged as a powerhouse in English football under Mikel Arteta. They are one of the clubs to watch next season.

Manchester City youngster Phil Foden was voted the Premier League Player of the Season for the 2023/24 campaign, beating the likes of Cole Palmer, Virgil van Dijk, Ollie Watkins and Martin Odegaard.

The 24-year-old really stepped up in the absence of Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland, ensuring City didn’t lose their foot in the title race. He continued to impress and scored crucial goals even after the return of those two.

Foden managed 19 Premier League goals and was presented with his award when City were win away from being crowned Champions. In the final match of the season, he gave his side the momentum by scoring the opener inside two minutes against West Ham. He then added another 16 minutes later as City secured a 3-1.

Cole Palmer had an outstanding debut season at Chelsea, winning the Premier League Young Player of the Season award. The attacking midfielder scored 22 goals throughout the campaign, trailing only Erling Haaland. He is only the third player aged 21 or below to reach 30+ goal involvement in one season, after Chris Sutton and Robbie Fowler.

Man City star Erling Haaland won his second consecutive Premier League Golden Boot after scoring 27 goals. The Norwegian became the first player to win the prestigious award back-to-back since Mohamed Salah during the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons. Haaland defeated his closest opponent, Palmer, by five goals.

Other players who were racing for this season’s Golden Boot include Alexander Isak, Foden, Dominic Solanke and Ollie Watkins.

Arsenal’s David Raya is one of the players on Premier League award winners for the 2023/24 season after claiming the Golden Glove. He won the prize in his debut season with Arsenal and sealed sealed his 16th Premier League clean sheet in the 1-0 win over Manchester United this month. Last season’s winner David de Gea kept 17 clean sheets.

Aston Villa were one of the best clubs during the 2023/24 season. Unai Emery really transformed the club and it isn’t surprising to see one of the players appear on Premier League award winners list.

Ollie Watkins had one of the best campaigns of his life last season as he claimed the Playmaker of the Season award after recording the most assists. Palmer finished with eleven while Kevin De Bruyne recorded ten despite missing half of City’s games throughout the season.

Alejandro Garnacho had more reasons to celebrate just one day after winning the FA Cup at Wembley as he was awarded the Premier League Goal of the Season award. Garnacho scored the iconic overhead kick back in November in a 3-0 win
