The strike which started Tuesday night with a go-slow reached its peak Wednesday morning.

Key operations at the facility remained disrupted with flights delayed and hundreds of passengers stranded.

The strike has organised by the Kenya Aviation Workers’ Union (KAWU) after negotiations with the airport management hit a dead end.

A spot check at key sections of the terminals showed no activity as workers kept off their workstations.

At one point, the officers arrested some few workers who kept chanting “Adani must go” as they blew whistles.

Those who spoke to the Star vowed not resume work until their grievances are addressed.
